Obstacle Avoidance
  • Led the system design and computer vision development as part of an interdisciplinary project during my PhD.
  • Collaborated with the Electronics Faculty, who engineered the hardware output interface to bring the system into real-world use.
  • Designed and implemented an image-based obstacle avoidance and classification system to identify obstacles in real time.
  • Detected and classified scene elements from RGB images and mapped them to assist navigation.
